Yiwu Fair Profile:
The Yiwu Fair is the largest of its kind. During the Yiwu Fair, international market seminars and transnational business group purchasing associations are organized to provide visitors with more valuable information and a wide range of business opportunities. Approximately 120,000 visitors attended the Yiwu Fair. It is estimated that 3,500 companies will participate in the 2013 Yiwu Expo, involving more than 5,000 people and covering an area of 90,000 square meters. The Yiwu Fair has been held for 15 consecutive years since 1995, every October in Yiwu, Zhejiang Province. In 2002, it was upgraded to an international trade fair. Since then, the event has been jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and other competent authorities. The Yiwu Fair, a highly international and informative activity with quality and security services, has become one of China's largest, most influential, and productive trade fairs. It has become the third largest exhibition organized by China's Ministry of Commerce, after the China Import and Export Fair in Guangzhou and the East China Fair in Shanghai. The Yiwu Fair was selected as China's Best Managed Exhibition in 2005, one of China's Top Ten Exhibitions in 2006, China's Best Exhibition in 2006, and China's Best Exhibition in 2007. The Yiwu Fair was first held in 1995 and was promoted as an international fair in 2002. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Commerce, the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and other competent authorities.
The Yiwu Fair concentrates 80% of the global consumer goods market and is also an option for small-quantity wholesale purchases, which is a great advantage for businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurs who import their products from China. The Yiwu Fair is a permanent international exhibition throughout the year, except for a brief closure during the Chinese New Year celebrations. You can visit and/or continue doing business with your selected suppliers and manufacturers at any time. Yiwu is the only wholesale purchasing option in China that allows you to do business whenever you want, without having to wait for specific dates. This International Trade City, as it is known, can meet your demands in all seasons. All prices you find in Yiwu are factory prices, and you even have the option to negotiate directly with the manufacturers themselves. Yiwu is a city that grew hand in hand with international trade, allowing manufacturers and suppliers to become accustomed to conducting business that benefits the customer. In addition to the bargaining typical of Chinese culture, you can agree on delivery conditions, packaging, service quality, delivery times, and any requirements you have for your product clearly and concretely. On the other hand, the Panda team will help you get the best deals for your business. This is our responsibility to each client.
The Yiwu market is divided into 5 Districts with specific product sections, for example: The first floor is mainly dedicated to the sale of flowers, plush toys, plastic toys, electric toys; the third floor is mainly dedicated to the sale of crafts, decorative arts, porcelain, photo frames, and accessories. Each floor, district, and section is clearly marked, organized, and classified, and the entire market is concentrated in a mega-structure that forms a giant mall with products for more than 80% of global consumption. Visiting the Fair is a unique business attraction in China, in addition to being an enriching experience.
